Future Teachers Of Our Black Children

There is a great need for young black teachers.

All across America our African-American children
are suffering. They are not receiving the same
type of quality education that white children
receive in white communities. Our children must
attend schools in communities that host liquor
and cigarretts advertisements, not to mention a liquor
store on every corner owned by someone who will
follow our children around the store in fear that they
are shoplifting. Our African-American children are
in need of some positive rolemodels, young men and
women who care enough about our future who don't
mind hard work in order to make a difference for
our future generation of black children and their
education.

IT'S UP TO YOU TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Nothing can change without effort. Our young African-
American men and women must get together and find
a way to promote teaching as a career to black
highschool students, preparing to enter collage.
We must get our high school students into the
elementary and jr. high schools as mentors and
positive rolemodels. We must give our black children
a strong, positive, reassurment that they can excell
nd become anything they dream about. We cannot let
our government, corupted neighborhoods determine
our childrens future.

What you can do! yes you!
Most people think that teaching or mentoring is
not for them for one reason or another. Whatever
the reason, weather it be not enough pay, or they
feel like they don't posess the ability to make a
difference in a childs life, YOU can make a difference.
If a child sees that you care about them and you give
your all to help them achive their highest goals
you have gained a friend for life.Receiving love
from a child is the best reward on earth. You can
begin by reading your local phone book and calling
mentor offices, or e-mail me @ [email protected]
nd i'll find a position for you, I will make a commitment,
WILL YOU?
